Kelly Clapp Wedding Palisades Country Club Charlotte, NC September, 19 2007 Jamie Lee – As we were looking at bands for our daughter’s wedding reception, we saw the testimonials on your website and our first thought was, “Seriously, who’s going to go home after hosting a big wedding and take the time to write to tell the band how awesome they were?” Well here we are, writing to tell the band how awesome they were! Far and away, best band we’ve ever heard at a wedding reception! Your song list was great, as was the execution. Even the “filler” music you played during breaks was well thought out. Our college-age daughter commented on the fact that you chose music that was familiar enough for “the parents” to want to dance to, yet cool enough for the college and 20-somethings to want to dance to. From the first dance song you guys played until we had to run everyone out of the club, the dance floor was always full. When 21-year-olds tell you it’s the best party they’ve ever been to, and you also have parents dancing who haven’t been on a dance floor in years … well, that’s a REALLY good band! You did a great job with all the “wedding stuff” … the introductions were straightforward and not cheesy, and the two “first dance” songs we requested sounded just perfect; you were professional and great to work with from start to finish. I know it took some creative efforts on your part to get the power you needed, but you obviously made it work, and we so appreciate it. We would definitely recommend Threshold to anyone needing a band for an event. Thanks again so much for helping us throw a GREAT PARTY!!!! Mark and Marilyn Clapp

January 1, 2007 Hey Jamie, You guys rocked Greensboro on NYE! I was a little hesitant to attend but a friend of mine told me how good THRESHOLD was and he was not lying. I drove from Roanoke, VA to spend NYE with everyone and the drive was well worth it!!! I hate to think ‘80’s music is now oldies…since that was the music of my teens. You all brought back so many good memories. I am actually sore today from dancing so much last night. Two thumbs (and two big sore toes) up to you guys! I would love to hear you again. I want to thank you and all the members of THRESHOLD for the wonderful job you did at Laura and Dave’s wedding reception on June 19 at the String and Splinter. Thanks also for all you did in advance to work out the necessary details. Your mix of music was great, and addressed the tastes of all ages present. Every detail was handled well and in a manner appropriate to the occasion, including all of the “emcee” duties that always are a part of wedding receptions. I would like to thank Threshold for their role in making my daughter’s wedding on March 20 very special. The band’s performance at the wedding reception at Bermuda Run Country Club was truly outstanding. Everyone and I mean everyone (300+) had positive comments about Threshold. The band’s incredible talent and variety of music made for a great evening of entertainment. The dance floor was full all night. People were dancing that hadn’t danced in years. The band’s professionalism and attention to detail was very evident. The first dance songs for my daughter and I were done to perfection. Again, thanks for making my daughter’s wedding day so special. The memories will last her for a lifetime. If I need a band in the future, you can rest assured that Threshold will be my pick. I have always maintained that the success of the prom is not determined by the countless hours spent in preparation and decoration. Rather, the success of the prom is determined by the quality of the music. Threshold band made our prom extremely successful!! You worked with the attendees – taking requests, involving the dancers, and bringing students up on stage. Our school is culturally and ethnically diverse; yet, you were able to perform music that appealed to the entire group. You worked with the school administration – full cooperation and honoring our professional requests. It was extremely satisfying and comforting to be in direct contact with you electronically. Your quick response to e-mails instilled confidence in your anticipated performance. A working telephone number may not sound like a major item, but it was good to talk with you as needed. Then, YOU WERE ON TIME for the event!! Professionalism is characteristic of your band and a very good reputation. I would highly recommend your band to any group. Dear Threshold Band, You guys were Great! Thank you so much for being a large part of what our daughter and new son-in-law called “the best night of their lives“. Everyone wanted to know how we found you. We told them it was just luck. What we did was ask our daughter what kind of music she wanted. We picked out a song representative of that music. I went online and searched party bands that had that song in their play list. I played the different versions to my daughter and wife without telling them which band they were hearing. They selected the best sound. Threshold was clearly the best. In addition to your talented performance, we were very impressed with you professionalism! Aug 3, 2006 Dear Jamie, Thank you and all the members of Threshold for making my wedding this July 22nd the most unbelievably fun and energetic reception I have ever been to…and I’m not just saying this because I was the bride. Everyone has told me how incredible they thought you were and how Threshold was one of the very best wedding bands they’d ever heard! I cared so much about having an awesome band and you all did not disappoint! Jamie your voice is incredible and I loved how you were able to get everyone involved and dancing. Your guitarist, drummer, and keyboardist were all so very talented and I loved watching them jam out! You are all incredible musicians. My sister got married in May and hired a well-known band from Memphis that was awesome too but cost much more. And after our weddings people have told me, including my Sister, that they thought ya’ll were better, not to mention more reasonably priced and sooo easy to work with! I will definitely be recommending you to anyone in need of a great band that can rock the house…Young and Old! My parents and their friends were every bit as impressed by you as my generation, and they were tearing it up on the dance floor too. Thanks again for everything!!! Hi Jamie, Sept. 18, 2006 Your band just recently played at my wedding reception at Alhambra Hall in Mt. Pleasant and I have to say it was the time of my life!!! You guys did an amazing job and I am still having people ask who ya’ll were and where I found you!! You guys have an ability to read a crowd and know what needs to be done to get everyone involved and you truly have talent…something that a lot of bands seem to lack. I only hope that ya’ll had half as much fun as we did. Thank you again and I would gladly be a reference for you any time one is needed. Hi Jamie, Nov. 5, 2006 We could not have been more pleased with you and your band, THRESHOLD at our daughter’s wedding at the Grove Park Resort & Spa! We have had quite a bit of feedback from relatives and friends. Without exception everyone has said it was the best wedding they have ever attended and that they hadn’t danced so much in a long, long time. I know that in a significant way it was due to your terrific band! Talented singing, great music, and the fun that you infused into the evening made it a memorable occasion for all.
