Many, many thanks to all of you who showed up last night (9-24-11) to help the band party down at the Baxter Village Block Party in Fort Mill, SC. It’s a special event for us as it has been for several years. But this year was a total blast! And it’s all due to you for coming out. And a special thanks to all of our Facebook friends for turning out and introducing yourselves to us. It really is a fun thing to meet face-to-face. We truly appreciate your compliments and support! The band has added a new page to this website called Video. Here you can view the band in action and see first hand why they are so popular.
Lately, the band has spent some serious time and money upgrading their equipment. They realize the importance of having top-notch gear and how much it means to a quality show. They’ve always been well known within the industry as having the best PA and light show around. Well, the best just got better. The sound system has been upgraded to a Yamaha Digital system that is incredible to say the least. Suddenly, the sound is every bit as crisp, clear and pleasing to the ear as your favorite CD. Another advantage of this digital system is it takes up less than half the space than the older analog equipment. Some venues will really appreciate this as the sound man now needs far less space to operate from and can, in fact, often be seen walking around the room control the sound from a tablet PC. Wirelessly!!!
In addition, the lighting has been upgraded to include new robotic moving lights that can cast moving designs anywhere in the room. Floors, ceilings, walls... They are especially nice when the band is on break and the disco takes over. The dance floor takes on a real club-style vibe. Tons of fun!
2012 has already seen the calendar rapidly filling up.
