UPDATE
While there was a time when playing clubs and such was commonplace for the band, it has become a very rare event when the public can come see a live performance due to the fact that we are so busy with private functions. So, we are pleased to announce 2 shows coming up that will be open to the public in 2008. The first one is September 27th at Beef O’Brady’s Big Block Party at Baxter Village in Fort Mill. Free to the public, this will be an all ages event with concession stands, rides, and something for everyone. Baxter Village is very easy to access as it is just off of I-77. If you are within driving distance, please come on over for a fun-filled day of games, rides, food and music.
The second date is on New Years Eve at The Fishbone Grill in Fort Mill. Make your reservations now by calling 803-548-0888. For more info on either event, just drop Jamie a line via the email link on the Contact Info page.
The boys would like to welcome newcomer, Rob Carroll, to the fold. Rob replaces outgoing drummer, Don Hamrick, who we all wish good luck in his future endeavors. Rob is an old friend of everyone in the band and is well liked and respected by his peers. In addition to being a drummer, Rob is also an excellent vocalist and has begun adding another voice to an already vocal-filled band. He takes the lead vocal on several songs in our dinner set. So, for the first time, all five band members are singing.
The Calendar is rapidly filling up for 2009. To reserve the band for your special occasion, be sure to contact Jamie as soon as possible and let him know you want to book the best party band in the Carolinas, Threshold, for your event. All contact info is conveniently located on the page labeled Contact Info. But don’t wait too long.
The boys would like to extend their heartfelt congratulations to all of the newlywed couples we’ve had the good fortune to perform for recently. We thank you for inviting us and wish you the very best in the future. And we hope you’ve enjoyed viewing the pictures from your celebrations on our Weddings page in the Photo Gallery.
To all newcomers to our web site, please be sure to take a few minutes to visit our Testimonials page for unsolicited comments from many of the fine folks we’ve had the honor to perform for. We thank each and everyone for taking the time write. And in doing so, our commitment to providing the kind of quality entertainment we’ve become so well known for is taken to a higher level.
Thank you for visiting our little home on the internet. If you have any questions, comments or concerns of any kind, don’t hesitate to let us know via any of the avenues given on the Contact Info page.
That’s it for now. But be sure to check back now and then to find out the latest on Threshold.
